Challenge Yourself! My USN 12 week makeover challenge
I started my USN 12 week makeover challenge in February 2015 and have maintained and even improved on my health even after my 12 week challenge. USN has not only helped me become physically fitter, healthier and stronger, but it has also made my mind fitter, healthier and stronger. The discipline and focus that was instilled in me during the time I followed the USN programme, flowed over into all other aspects of my life: As a practicing Physiotherapist, I believe that one should take an holistic approach to health and well being. Nutrition plays a vital role in helping me get through the daily demands of being a health professional. USN provides me with the necessary energy, to function optimally, so that I may be able to give my clients the care and attention that they deserve.
As an avid motor sport athlete in Drifting, I noticed that since following the USN programme, my skills in drifting have also improved. As my mental focus, determination and reflex reactions improved, so did my skill level in drifting. On 10 April 2016, I entered a Driftkhana competition, DR1FTCITY, which took place at The Grand Parade in Cape Town. I was the only female competitor, amongst 24 males, which happened to be of the top drifters and gymkhana athletes in South Africa. I made it to Top16 and ranked 14th on the day. As a growing female motorsport athlete, I rely on the Ultimate Sports Nutrition, to help me become the Ultimate Motorsport Athlete.
Since starting my USN journey, my personal trainer advised me to enter a body building competition. Initially I was hesitant, but decided to do it. My first competition was Western Province IFBB in August 2015, where I placed 3rd in Fitness Bikini up to 163cm. My 2nd competition was Shameen Classic on 30 April 2016, where I placed 1st in Body Fitness, which resulted in me receiving an official Invitation to The “ by invite only” Arnold Classic International competition, which fortunately for me, was hosted by South Africa this year, in Sandton Convention Centre. I placed 5th in Body Fitness up to 163cm, at this International Competition, in a tough line-up. The competitive bug has bitten me, and I will continue to strive to improve on this platform. I can honestly say that I could not have done this without my USN products, which provided me with the correct and necessary nutrients to develop my body, mind and fitness, to be able to compete at an International level.
